Dwarf Fortress, via web browser.

I'm attempting to get a working copy of Dwarf Fortress 0.43.05 64bit running on my Ubuntu server that can be accessed through a web browser.

I've read the wiki and I've attempted to use DFeverywhere and DF-Webfort, but there's some serious stability problems with it and I would like to host it on my own domain. I'm unsure of how to proceed.

twitch? But you cant use that to control it. hmm.... There's something called 'remote desktop' which sounds useful.

Normally I just use putty to play. There's no desktop environment so that limits possibilities.
