...a red and black chunk of ore! However, the ore is laying on a naturally formed stone shelf off the side of the mesa rock, the shelf is about a foot above the brown slush and a few feet below the top of the mesa rock where the giant slug is asleep. The slug has shown no awareness of Jean at the moment but she fears that it may not be case if she were to dilly dally. What will Jean attempt do?

Abandon stealth, run as fast as she can, take the ore and get the hell out of there. Its a giant slug, so even if it wakes up, it cant catch us.

Abandon stealth, run as fast as she can, take the ore and get the hell out of there. Its a giant slug, so even if it wakes up, it cant catch us.

Jean rushes forward, splashing and spraying slush everywhere with each step, hoping to reach the ore as quickly as possible...

...and easily runs onto the self and grabs the ore. Jean then quickly does a 180* turn away from the slug and slips, falling off the stone shelf into the muddy slush, *Gurlrugl* Unfortunately, it seems that Jean has woken up the slug with all the noise she has been making. The slug opens its mouth relieving circular rows of sharp dagger-like teeth and what appears to the brown slush foaming forth from its mouth. A loud gurgling sound is coming from the creature's mouth...

Jean scampers to get herself off the ground and running, slightly off balance but otherwise okay she raises to her feet and attempts to flee with the ore in her hands...

And in her haste she slips and falls several times, quickly picks herself up to run again, "Burrggh!" The giant slug bletches as it spews a green mucus-like liquid from its mouth at Jean...

...narrowly missing Jean and lands a few feet in front of her in the brown slush! She gets back onto her feet and hurries toward the chamber's exit...

...and reaches the exit of the chamber but not before hearing the disgusting bletch of the giant slug yet again, "Burrggh!"

...and misses yet again, allowing for Jean to escape back down the tunnel!
End of Combat!
Covered in brown slush from head to toe and slightly out of breath, Jean runs until she reaches the end of the tunnel, returning to the entrance behind the waterfall. "Ugh... I don't ever wish to travel back there again..." Jean complains as she emerges from the hidden tunnel, she glances at the ore in her hands, "I really hope this rock was worth the trouble..." she says with heavy sarcasm before sighing, "Well? Now what should I do?"

((Sorry for the delay, I've been a bit busy. Also I realized I forgot to put the distance between the slug and Jean in the initiative order but it didn't matter in the end as Jean escaped successfully. Jean has been getting some close calls on her rolls.))
