I'm making a game with one of my friends, it's called Space Cooking (at least for now) and this is a DevBlog of sorts for it, we're hoping to get it done by the time the PAX Dev Panel deadline rolls round, so we can enter it into the contest.

Stay tuned for more! Will be updating this whenever I make significant progress on it!

The name is interesting, but there's not really much to see. Not even a concept. Some more information on what it is intended to be would be nice.

I'm actually working on another project right now, and realized that I announced this one WAY too early, will make this game later most likely. Gonna be a bit more busy with the one I'm currently making.

The reason I'm making the other one is because I enjoy the concept of it a bit more than this one.

I've been thinking about creating a space cooking game as well, where you get to go to randomly generated planets full of randomly generated creatures which you can kill and cook, or even capture and breed so you can harvest their bodies for things like milk, hair, tears, organ fluids, etc. You can also choose to respect life and only harvest non-sentient materials like plants and bacteria.

Your customers would be aliens from whatever area you are currently in, each race with their own traditions and culinary requests. Some might only want to eat from a kitchen that does not harm animals, while other races might only eat living sentient beings.

I decided not to build it, but if you do something like this I'd love to play it!
