any good 3d render software?
« on: March 30, 2016, 05:46:40 pm »

What program or plugin would you recommend me to render my fortress? I think stonesense wouldnt do the trick, because my fortress is deep underground, carved directly from raw rock, and surrounded by huge empty spaces, or would it? I would also like to render the insides, and even if its possible make a simple animation, moving through floors and levels. Is that even possible?

Armok Vision is, I believe, the most advanced 3d imager for DF.  It is, however, simply a viewer.  If you want to make an animation, I recommend GifCam.
