Dragoneer Tribune: February
Event: Its still quite cold out in Nova Crotia. In fact, its incredibly cold! Fire dragons are in high demand right now. (Cost x2, Sell value x2). Some individuals are willing to pay a modest fee to rent your fire dragon for a two month period.
Marketplace Special item: Cofruken Egg. This is a dragon from a distant desert land. Its is capable of skittering across sand faster than most dragons can fly. Has a sand based breath attack. Is considered an earth type dragon. (600c)
Arena: The arena has reopened despite the biting cold. The challenge for the month of February is a winter triathlon. It includes running through snow, swiming under ice, and flying through frigid winds. Only the most well rounded and resilient dragons will have a chance at taking home the prize: A Frostveiled Neddlewap egg stolen from a glacial island far to the north.
Expeditions: The same offers as last month.
A Note To The Editor: "Wild dragons are wild. After capturing a dragon, spend some time gaining its trust. Whether that is feeding it its favorite food or directly training it, spending time working with your dragon is the best way to domesticate it." - Master Dragoneer Laxtton.
CrazyabeYou send your dragon home and go with ATH to check out the cave. You find the smaller dragon, which wasn't hard seeing as you're in a cave on a cliff face, and the dragon cant fly. Theres really only so far the thing can go. You net it with the intention of getting it help, and at this point its too weak to even try to avoid the net.
ATHYou have a bit of a problem. The dragon is much larger than you are, and is thrashing about. There's no way you can get it up the climbing gear. However, like crazyabe and his earth dragon, the expedition airship flies in as close as possible and helps you hook the net to cables attached to the ship. Once done, they gently upwards and away, carrying the netted dragon by ropes hanging bellow the airship.
CheesecakeThe dragon eyes you as you approach, but does not seem aggressive. In fact it already seems pretty docile. However, you know full well that this dragon is capable of defending itself very effectively. It watches you intently as you reach into your bag and take out some bread. You leave the bread in front of the dragon, and it shifts its attention to the bread. While it eats you try to find something to bind it's wound with. As you start there is aggressive growling from the dragon, but you carry on it stops. You look up after you're done and it is still looking at you. Its face is maybe a foot away from your face, despite you working on its back foot. It seems the dragon has an extendable neck. Its big eyes and fanged mouth are stretching close towards your face.
ArcvastiYou send up a flare and within an hour you and your logsnapper are being airlfted back home. Some of the guys running the ship admire your dragon and ask you questions about how you caught it. One of them asks you why you went after that species.
