Martial Training strong need? How to satisfy..

I cant seem to figure out how to get my girl to train in adventure mode, she always says unfocused.

Build a fortress and put her in the military for a few years. That should work. So long as she doesn't die of Fun by mistake...

Just fight stuff. Tavern brawls work too. Any sort of fighting that improves your fighting skills counts towards the Martial Training.

Use any combat skill you're not practiced with until you gain a rank. In the early game I saved my knapping/throwing grind for this; it's less boring than doing it all at once. Could also grab bow or crossbow in a meadhall and shoot their ammo until gaining a rank.
