Since I was having some bother persuading my architect to build a road out to the map-edge due to rampaging hordes of unicorns, I thoughtfully dug a few defensive channels to keep them at bay. This worked well enough and the road was finished.

HOWEVER!

It seems that my fellow dwarves spurn my pretty road, choosing instead to enter the region a little north of where it touches the map-edge... by coincidence right were my channel touches that selfsame map-edge. I have lost a caravan to this damned channel, and I nearly lost a few immigrants as well!

I have build a small 3x3 bridge right on the edge, but I was wondering if this might be considered a bug or not, and whether I should mention it in the bug forum. If it is not, then I suppose it gives everyone a chance to laugh at me!  ;)

i have found that immigrants come in a line 5 wide at the edge if thats any help to you

I hate channels with a passion and I can't wait for the day it's possible to remove them.
