Dwarven god sponsoring a demon?
« on: January 12, 2016, 01:52:24 pm »

Is this what I'm reading? A dwarves god granted a demon its boon so it can test the strength of fortresses?
Logged
Legend tells of a fort besieged by a dragon. When 79 brave recruits fell to its breath, the last dwarf of the fort took up arms. He sprung from his sickbed and claimed an adamant one sword before he bulrushes the dragon. A clean swipe severs the head. But the dragon claws him in the lower body and burns him alive. As he melts into a pile of booze and fat, I rename him Ronnie James Dio and change his profession to dragonslayer. He will forever be immortalized and worshipped as a dragonslayer God.

Yes. This has been a thing for a while now.

I haven't checked since I'm not doing bugs until after the release (well, I'm doing bugs, in the additive sense).

Ja. This is a very common occurrence.

Gods have been known to aid demons for far less believable reasons, e.g. "after pondering the ineffable subtleties of fish." :P

Dwarven gods, like Dwarfs themselves, are jerks and probably drunk.

A tiny, foul-tempered humanoid creature that dwells in the evil mountains. They are known to enjoy drinking liquor and will take any unguarded supplies of booze.

So, pretty much like the Greek Gods were.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

Pretty much.

The Summerian version of the Great Flood also comes to mind. The humans are too noisy? Drown them!

The Myth Generator is going to be all kinds of awesome.
