Very good game, brings back sweet memories of griefing. Glad to see they made an emu and people are actually playing and liking it. Cheers

Two hours and you were banned? I feel like there's more to the story there, but there were quite a few assholes when I played. Mainly people taking the game way too seriously, camping out in lowbie areas, RPing, things of that nature.

yeah they kept insisting i open a support ticket to understand the controls. At one point one the the peeps asked what was the mission of SWGemu and I said "to scrub my ass". I got a chuckle or two then a ban so I guess it's my fault but this game is not ready for prime time after all these years.

still not anywhere close to as cool as SWG was, waste of time, IMHO.

Huh not sure why I haven't looked into the Repopulation yet but it certainly does look good...may grab it...since it is only $20

I'd wait a bit. It's still pretty fun to play, but it is incomplete with guaranteed wipes before launch. All the mechanics are there, but it requires a lot of stuff to be fleshed out. I.E. not all skills are useful/learnable/balanced, not a whole ton of things to craft.

So, for everyone who was interested in playing this but couldn't secure physical software... use the force.

Lucasarts is long dead, so I wouldn't feel too bad about using it.

LucasArts might be dead but someone claimed their shit, including rights to their titles. I'm not scolding but I'm just saying, that might not technically be legal to post by the forum rules.

Doesnt that fall in the abandonware categorie where its more greyish than black and white? Also i dont even remember the rule about abandonware. If i remember right even that was against the rule, but since its about a popularish game on a well known emulator wich is still alive after all these year, i think we could fall in the grey zone?

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

The problem is that while the emulator software is okay to download, the software may not be probably isn't.

EDIT: I'll try Awakening too.
