Guys I thought this thread was for modding that stuff in than "DF SUGGESTIONS" thread? and all kinds of messed up stuff you can do to dwarves via Modding this stuff in like have them mutate another arm for drinking more messed up potions? also since this is in adventure's mode I figure we would had plans on weaponizing it. like roll in on a minecart filled with burning lignite and super drugs hoping the stuff makes everyone drowsy enough for a crit kill.

So what I would do If we were designing a mod would be to use the various stuff already in game floating around unused, specifically the extracts. Some ideas for alchemical psychoactive ingredients and the in game effects:

-Sunshine: drunk + focused ( I imagine Sunshine to be luxurious or exotic like absinth?)
-Hemp: removal of 'nausea' status at one use, removal of 'nausea' status and removal of 'focused' status at two, the previous + drowsy at three uses. Fulfills 'make merry' need.
-Golden Salve: Potentially an opium? I don't really know. If it was, removal of pain and added drowsiness at low amount, same effect + having trouble breathing or nausea at high dose.
-Mog Juice: its from some kind of swamp thing so it could be trance inducing.
-Gnome Blight: Temporary Berserk?
-Liquid Fire: ? Instant martial trance and pain immunity?

nah those drug drinks seem super tame and lacking the oompth of tricking folks into drinking it as do.

here's my take on them
-Sunshine: SUPER drunk + focused(placebo) + makes vomit into molten gold ( I imagine Sunshine to be luxurious or exotic like absinth?)
-Hemp: removal of 'nausea' status at one use, removal of 'nausea' status and removal of 'focused' status at two, the previous + drowsy + Bleeding in the throat  at three uses. Fulfills 'make merry' need.
-Golden Salve:  grants you interaction of transforming a corpse into any new bodypart but the catch is you lose your tongue in the process which later on will morph you into a plant that would heal it back.
-Mog Juice: its from some kind of swamp thing So makes you drink mud thus cause the person to pass out
-Gnome Blight: basically normal to everyone but Gnomes, mix this with a Drink that turns you into a Gnome for extra hilarity
-Liquid Fire: ? Instant martial trance and pain immunity? FIRE the person catches on FIRE then earns the interaction of flame breath as a greeting so it makes everyone around the drunk also catch on Fire.
then if the person survives a few ticks they suddenly turn into an elementalman of fire with no fire immunity and weak wooden joints so the creature Explodes into million limbs

I mean most of those don't seem lethal as dwarven booze = drink enough and your character suffocates in a pool of vomit.
