Has dwarven justice gotten harsher?
« on: December 17, 2015, 08:14:55 pm »

it used to be that a vampire, for example, would have to kill a bunch of people in order to get sentenced to even 10 hammer strikes. I just a had a vampire kill one person and be sentenced to 50! When did this change?

I think it also depends on the personality of the sherrif.

I'm new to succession forts in general, yes, but do all forts designed by multiple overseers inevitably degenerate into a body-filled labyrinth of chaos and despair like this? Or is this just a Battlefailed thing?

There isn't much middle ground between killed-by-dragon and never-seen-by-dragon.

If anything it's gotten more lenient.  I had a dwarf die from an injury in a barfight but nothing happened to the killer.

I think tavern fights are not in the justice system yet. My dwarves are slaughtering eachother in a tavern brawl that has englufed my entire fort.... Nothing to say who is combat with who, who killed who, etc.
