Horses and horses and horses

So, I have a mod that I made. I  barely changed anything about the base game, the only thing about vanilla entities I changed was giving dwarves halberds and lowering the size requirement of halberds. Then I genned a world with advanced parameters, worked out a few bugs, got everything working well... until I go into legendsviewer and see... Horses. Millions of them. In every dwarven fortress, mountain hall, and hillocks, just thousands of horses. Hundreds of thousands. And the same in Lextan (my custom species) and human places. Also, hundreds of thousands of unicorns in lextan places in good biomes.

Anything in your errorlog?

Aside from adding halberds to dwarves, what else have you modded into the game?

no errorlog. And uh, I've modded in way too many things to count, but the only thing I've modded in in between when there werent thousands of horses and when there were was instruments.
Also, its not just horses, I tried to generate a non-advanced-parameters world and there are still thousands of animals, but now it includes camels as well. Interestingly, all the creatures seem to be similar; horses... camels... unicorns.... also, there are precisely 3600 of each species in each hillocks I've checked.

oh, and uh, another note about what I was doing right before this. I was getting crashes when it tried to place civilizations, so I removed instruments from the entity, and it worked. No errorlog. I didnt remove the instruments, just took them off the entity.

Oh. Thats simultaneously a relief and a pity. A pity cause I cant fix it yet, a relief cause its not my fault.

on another note, I've been having trouble with a transformation syndrome not working in adventurer mode (but working in arena and fortress mode). Could this also be due to the update?

This was the same transformation thing you mentioned in your previous thread? Could be that inhaled syndromes are finicky on adventurers. I'd recommend either an ingested syndrome, or ideally you use an interaction instead.

1) how would I make a transformation interaction?
2) Its not inhaled, its a contact syndrome.
