problem with key functions
« on: November 21, 2015, 10:03:48 am »

After installing the latest PyLNP (r18; don't know if it is really related), I observed some strange behaviour with some key functions. For example, if I set a note ('N'->'p') and the edit said note with 't' and thereby enter the letter 'd' in the text input field, this 'd' is interpreted as delete and I'm asked whether I want to delete the note. Other letters, for example capital 'D' I can enter without any issue.
Similar things happen in other menus, for example when trying to edit minecart waypoints.

I must have unintentionally changed some settings but I don't have the slightest idea where to look for it. In the old installation with PyLNP r17, everything works fine.

It should be easy to rename the current LNP installation and reinstall r18 and copy your save. If thinks work fine, you probably did somehow screw things up. If they misbehave again, something is probably odd with r18 itself, and if you, you might want to leave a note in the LNP thread (and you can check it to see if someone else has already discovered it).
There IS a problem with r18 that makes it impossible to remove the default mine cart route stop departure orders (typing the 'x' causes a delete query box to appear). A correction to that problem is described in the thread, and might also fix your problem. Read the discussion following the first correction description, though, as the implementation probably needed the modification described.

According to the LNP thread, there are several confirmation dialogs with this problem. Thank's for the hint.
