Hello. I'm the lead (and lone) developer at Spritewrench and I'm excited to introduce: Shiny Gauntlet.

What is Shiny Gauntlet
Shiny Gauntlet is a Dungeon Hack n Slash, Bullet Hell, Rogue-Lite Adventure.

Select your champion and explore the Gauntlet. Collect weapons, enchanted rings, bottle and/or consume the mysterious remains of defeated foes, all the while chasing the wily cultist who has stolen your Shiny Shard!

Inspired by games such as Binding of Isaac and Legend of Zelda, Shiny Gauntlet is a game designed for players who like short play sessions of intense difficulty.



Features

Classes
20 classes (with only 5 initially available). Each with their own unique abilities

Rings
Over 60 rings to find. Each boosting stats or granting a special effect

Aretfacts
5 artefacts to unlock. Stackable and granting game changing effects. Enhancing re-playability. Allowing you to tweak the difficulty within the Gauntlet.

Stamina
Ability use consumes stamina. Eating monster remains restores your stamina.

Monster Drop Bottling
Store monster remains to produce light and consume them later for powerups! (or to regain stamina)

Top-down hacknslash Risk of Rain? Hell yes.

Looks neat, I'll take the demo for a spin tomorrow.  Thanks for making one btw, all too many devs choose not to these days.

I noticed that on the ichto.io site it mentions Android, but it's not in the google playstore and there's no option for buying the mobile version. For $2, I was thinking of giving it a quick go.

Ah.  Sorry.  That was a mistake. There is no android version at this time.

Got a smallish update for you all

v0.52 Patch Notes

  • Added key code based unlocked system. (To facilitate more shenanigans for SGLR challenges)
  • Fixed a few bugs

SGLR CUP
Shiny Gauntlet League Racing

In an attempt to build a community around the game.  I will be hosting weekly challenges with various prizes on the line, from now until January 1st 2016.


SGLR CUP - Week 1 Results
Congratulation to last weeks victor /u/zufallsheld for completing 'Stroy Mode' in 29 minutes and 4 seconds and a big thanks to all those who participated.


SGLR CUP - Week 2
"Mage Challenge"

Rules
  • Classes Restricted Magic Users - Mage, Wizard, Warlock, Bishop, Mystic Knight, Spell Snipe.
  • No Artefact restriction - Choose any artefacts you have unlocked.
  • No Ring restriction - Choose any of the rings you have unlocked.
  • Complete 'story mode' .
  • Submit proof via comments here

The player with the best time wins!
