Gremlin duke demand?

"Stray duke of Wordfortresses (*Trained*) has a new demand."

My duke is a Gremlin, and I've been unable to assign the ducal quarters to him because he won't show up in the list. I have also been unable to see why he was stressed in the past. Now he just came with a demand, but I have no idea what it is and can't find it out (and I guess I can't fulfill it anyway, since it's probably something to be put in his room...).
Normally for demands you go via the Nobles screen and enter the noble in question, but all I find there is a physical description of him, with no thoughts, preferences, or the like.

Any ideas?

...OR, if he absorbs that noble spot, you could just let him be sad in his cage and keep your nobles screen slightly less filled :D

Wrong answer!

I appointed him when I saw the chance to see what would happen. I was under the impression that Gremlin mayors don't come up with demands, so barons/dukes shouldn't either. I'm actually looking for a Gremlinette to get a baroness and completely tame Gremlinlings.

And, by the way, you can't keep Gremlins in cages, because once tamed they need to sleep, and they can't sleep while caged, so they go insane (that's what happened to my second ever Gremlin). This one is running around freely, but is nevertheless retrained from time to time, which didn't happen to my first ever Gremlin, who turned wild when running free (which is what caused me to cage the partner).
You can't keep the buggers in a pasture either, because they need to eat and drink, and the lazy dorfs don't bring either, so you need to pasture them by a water source with a food supply within their pasture (or, in my case, I used a chain, to the same effect). But, as I said, it's currently running around freely, mostly chasing one of the trainers, it seems.

Although it is a bit of a cruel and unusual punishment to have the poor creature put up with being insulted by the snotty tree hugger spy every year.
