Get my r&d department on the phone, have them send up some jelly beans with pain killers, sedatives, and cyanide in them (separate jelly beans). Then purchase the best cold weather gear I can find. also procure one or two pounds of gold. Then purchase a few untraceable firearms and lots of ammo, preferably incendiary ammo.
You pull out your phone, dialing the number and hold it to your ear, tapping your foot. After awhile you check your phone, and as it turns out, you have no signal.. Hm. You shrug, considering where you would get all of these different things. [1] Maybe your jellybeans are secretly hiding weapons inside themselves? Hmmm.. You scoop up a handful of jelly beans out of a small bowl on your desk, munching on them idly. Probably. As for weather gear.. [3] There might be some stores you could go and buy some stuff from..
"I know what was wrong I wasn't breaking enough laws of physics."
Create a small heater robot, order the part, the robot should be about the size of a quarter, then go outside and place it in the sky where the sun should be, should work cause physics are screwy right now.
You yell at your employees to get the part, since y'know, cell phones don't work. A few of them walk off to go do so, [1] there's a loud 'thunk' of something heavy falling, and a scream... Erm. Well uh.. You watch your workers give worried glances at the source of the sound.. Well now what?
"Huh."
return home, gather my map, get in my old rusty truck, and head out to where ever this lab is.
You shake your head, delegating that it's likely too dangerous and hike back home as quickly as possible. Once you arrive back at home, you head over to your truck, climbing in, starting it up and beginning to pull out while glancing down at the map. [5-1 (smeared)] Just gotta take a right here, drive forward a bit and.. You're on your way! Shouldn't take too long, you'd guess. Maybe a fourish hour drive. (Just for the sake of having you be able to do something, I'll have you arrive there next turn if that's fine?)
"Well, the world appears to be ending so if any of you want to go and try to find your families feel free to leave now. I'm going to try to get somewhere I think will be safe, so the rest of you can come with me if you want. Good luck and it's been a pleasure working with you."
If anyone decides to stay have them search the building for anything useful. Look out of the window and make a similar announcement over the intercom for those staff not in the room, before examining the map in greater detail.
You deliver your speech to your employees, a finger on the intercom so it broadcasts throughout the building. You wait a moment to see how they would take this. [4] The people assembled in the room shift from foot to foot for a moment, one of them nod respectfully to you before striding out of the room, presumably to go meet their families.. All in all, you have quite a few people with you. Well, now for the next order of business. You request that they search the building, the three that were left quickly go and get to the task at hand. [4] After awhile four return, with quite a few supplies. You have some suits made to help the pilot endure high G's, a heater, and basically all the food and drink that were in the staff's mini fridge. You also have a hand cranked generator, but it's not likely going to be able to power the heater without something else. You then examine your map, [5-1 (pirate map)] Well, it seems to be a pirate map, and measured in paces.. Hmm.. Assuming a pace is.. If that's.. You scribble on the map a bit, getting a general guide for the distances involved. Well you know the general location of.. Where ever this leads. A lab? Anyways, once you get there, you'll probably have to spend some time actually finding the place.
Go back inside and gather any survival gear he can find.
You clear your throat, looking around at all the panicking people to make sure no one saw that, and quickly going back inside. Okay, let's see what you have.. [3] The answer is not much. You could try and just put on quite alot of t-shirts and such, but you're pretty sure there's a reason people don't do that or something. But you do have some food. And.. Well, you have some fireworks. Not sure you want to use explosives for heating, y'know?
Or I could go home and grab what extra stuff I have there. Then it's time to travel!
Oh, right-o! You nod to yourself, scooping up your map and such and taking your car back to your house.. You get out, entering your house and very quickly beginning to search the place. [6] Ah, home sweet home. You begin just grabbing
everything, and dumping it into your car, you're honestly not sure what all you grabbed, but it's probably some good stuff. You do know for sure you have some food though, having a few MRE's and such. Anyways, onwards, to that one place! [6-1] You hum a tune to yourself as you drive, "Halfway theeere, ooh-oh!" You think you've pretty much have this down, honestly.
(Whoops, sorry 'bout that, had a serious case of writers block, spent half my time just staring at a single action trying to figure out what to type.
This should be good, if I missed anything don't hesitate to tell me.)
World Stuff[6] ..Everything feels fairly normal?.. Yet it feels like something's a bit off, the temperature completely just stopped decreasing.. Odd.
Physics, Density slightly increased. Everything mono-chrome. Gravity increased. Sun's no longer shining. World's colder.
