Well, that's kinda my point dampe. The idea that the sniper would target the fastest moving among us is a bit unfair, but eh. I liked Hanton, personally, sucks.

I asked in the IC thread, but did anyone see where the sniper was? Like, the flash from the shot or something?

Because if they did, Adriana could raise her rifle, aim at him, and use her active to blow his head off.

No, since everyone else was already in the alley.

But don't worry.
She'll get her chance.

Well, Hanton is potentially the fastest moving, but she failed her roll.
I was going to say she tripped on a cobblestone or something, but that seemed silly.

Yeah, I feel it's kinda bull that somebody with that many points in speed would get insta-killed by a speed check, still. Maybe if she got shot, but wasn't completely obliterated, it'd feel more fair. Eh.

Oh, shit, forgot to mention.
The man with the rifle rolled a 95 (headshot), so that's why it was an instant kill.
It would have been entirely possible for Jesse to get shot in the foot.

Wow. That is some terrible luck, then. GG Hanton, you were a good character who had some of the worst luck I've ever seen in a game.

Yeah, I'm also surprised that happened and I was about to put up a defense, but two bad rolls in a row contextualize things better. Had it been just one bad roll, then I'd argue against having a PC die that easily.

Yeah, my bad for not mentioning the sniper's roll in the IC.

@Dampe: Hey, let the man vent his frustration. The RNG screwed him during the whole game until it finally delivered a coup-de-grāce.

And it'll be rather difficult to hotwire. Does anyone have Hotwiring? I don't. And to be honest, it's an oddly specific skill I feel should be rolled into Technology or Lockpicking.

Could I have more than one passive - and + ability? I am rethinking my sheet (again).
