Benevilan grew wary of the world. Chaos in many ways still survived on the surface, only his own land being calm compared to the rest. The others who had been creating had one final creation, intelligent beings. However, things still looked grim to what they created, as they had powerful magics and were alien in mind, more often then not. He saw beings of eyes, with their powerful magics, and bodysnatching parasites. He saw odd men, not seeming of flesh and blood, and a insect hivemind. He was worried, to be sure, on how these beings seemed to act. Half were beings of chaos, the other half of some twisted order, at least in his eyes.
Benea was still untouched from the races. It was time for his own race to inhabit it, far from most of the dangers of the world, as there was no need to fear of worms and other creatures of the caverns, he could keep them calm, but with the potential for something greater.
It was time for humanity.
Yes, this is for the most part vanilla humanity, so for most details you can put in "human average" and look at real life for things related to them. There are, however, a few differences:
1. Humans are slightly different in the sense that they have "infinite potential" and can keep growing their skills even beyond human limits would allow in real life. To note, however, that it is much harder for them to improve after they reach normal humans maximum capabilites.
2. Humans have a potential for magic, but have to learn it first. Unlike the above example, humans do have a hard cap on this one, ultimately being weaker then espers, but being able to hold their own in being able to learn a far greater variety of magic. This cap can only be improved by increasing ones own capacity for mana, but even great rituals only will give slight improvements. The on cap on getting to this is speed of learning, however, and could take a genius about ten years of practice. Without learning anything abot magic, however, this will never come to note.
3. Humans have a natural, and very slight, resistance to magic. While this doesn't help them survive the more powerful magic effects, it helps them resist mild mind-control and other things similar.
Benevilan, proud of seeing his work as it is, knew that he had little more time to work before he had to rest. He created one more force, one more thing protecting his creation. The ultimate being of his will, ready to guard the race he had just created until it was time they could reclaim the rest of the world from the chaos. He called upon a different being, similar to all of his previous creations, and made it whole. He would call him
The Protecter. Let him defeat the dark beings which seemed to inhabit the world more often then not...
He takes form of a Guardian Behemoth, grown nearly to the size of a village in size. He is not made of flesh, but of a brillant golden light, and seems to radiate an aura of calm. However, he has one task, to guard the continent of Benea and the new race of Humans on it. Despite appearances, he is actually quite fierce, attacking threats to the continent with a powerful beam of light and heat, destroying even the toughest hides in mere moments, as even the stone gets melted rapidly.
Yeah, not the most exciting thing to do, but we need normal people. I was hoping someone else would create them for me, but this will have to do for now.
