Earth-looking map

I played Dwarf Fortress years ago, and decided to come back. First world that it created:

Am I going crazy or does this resemble Earth?

Is that an evil ocean? I didnt know earths ocean contained Cthulhu.

Yeah, now that we have multiple poles, you could make a world where Antarctica isn't a desert.

But what is hot? Cold? Maybe Antarctica is hot. Its all relative.

I had once a idea to select the advanced parameters, based on real life earth is. But forgot about it.

PS: I am not talking about some perfect world, earth map. But about selecting the advanced world parameters (but not seed), like Erosion Cycle Count, Periodically Erode Extreme Cliffs, Magma Layer,..................
