Legends Continuation
« on: June 22, 2015, 07:55:51 pm »

Is there anyway to continue legends mode? I love legends mode more than anything (except the forums) and I wish I could get it to go past the length of world generation. Do I have to  play the game in fortress mode or adventurer mode to get my history to continue, I would love if I could get any help on this, thanks.

In  the tge Advanced World Generation Parameters you can set the desired history lengt. That's the only way to have longer legends, IIRC.

Thanks, my bad for my obvious stupidity, O can finally make a 100,000 year world and sift though documents for hours and hours.

I believe the question was if there's a way to continue it after world generation already ends. In which case, you kind of can. You could start a very small self-contained fortress that's basically just a farm hidden underground, and then set the fps cap really high and let it run. Legends works slightly differently, and is kind of slow, and just having a world with a very long history in the first place is probably better.

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.
