Apologies, good readers, but there will be no update this week. My laptop finally gave out after six long years of service, and took with it the Gadoc save file. I do have everything backed up, so it should be recoverable, but I'll need to switch from Mac DF to Windows DF, which could cause problems. If anyone's had a similar experience in the past, please share any advice to hasten the process. I'll make a double length post next week to make up for it, provided the titan doesn't smash Gadoc to bits in the first instant of combat.

Wow this is fun. I'm glad I read this, it'll give me some idea of what I'm in for in my own adventures.

PTW to see this Halberdier's descent into darkness or prevailing against it; power does often make an adventurer oh so drunk on it.
