The wikipedia article for that indicates that it uses 21 grams of lithium for each 28 grams of alumium.  Seems like a bit of a misnomer.

In lithium-ion batteries the lithium ions moving back and forth is what does the actual storage work.

In Aluminium-ion batteries, the aluminium ions are moving back and forth.

So it's not a misnomer, they're named after the way they work, not what they're made of.
