How to block people?

Hi guys. There's been one of the shock-posters again (Zicit, if you want to avoid one of the many, many topics/posts), and I'd prefer if I could block their posts. Is there an option to do that? (I haven't seen any so far.)

go to your profile, click on add buddies/ignore users, and switch to ignore mode, and type in Zicit's name.

I had to copy and paste his name into the field to get it to recognize it. Not sure what's up with that, but its up.

Possibly the name included a character that the computer recognized as distinct despite it being drawn exactly the same (the possibility that springs immediately to mind is that the capital Z (Z) was actually a capital Zeta (Ζ), which for some inexplicable reason is coded as a different character by most computer fonts despite being the same symbol; {seriously, that's like having different characters for 'zee' and 'zed'})

And it looks like they decided to leave Forum Games and Roleplay and have gone to General Discussion as well.

Not really...

When it is just a single bad post in like 3 threads it is a hard clean up because Toady is basically doing delicate surgery.

But when it is just one person doing this much spam everywhere... it is actually a lot easier.

Yeah, it's not exactly subtle. He's even hitting the same regions and everything as last time too. Just report the posts you see and don't reply in any threads he makes.

It does mean that the forums will go down for like 10 minutes.

While if it was just in a single thread it might take 10 minutes but the forums could stay up.
