Vomit is everywhere

Some lousy dwarf around the fort is producing vomit in truly industrial ammounts - about 30% of the map has been covered in vomit so far. I've tracked it down to legendary stonecrafter, though he has no symndromes/health probs whatsoever.

Atm Urist McVomit is locked away in a sick ward along with piles of vomit.
Is there any way to stop him from expulsion of his stomach contents? And also, can dfHack remove all the vomit from outside without also cleaning up blood/etc?

Sounds like cave adaptation. Either don't ever let him outside, or make sure he spends enough time outside regularly.

Just checked - he has no "nauseated by sun" thought. Also, my meeting area is outside, so there's no way he could've developed CA. Or at lease, he would've healed of it quickly. He;s been producing vomit for 1.5 years so far!

How "outside" is your meeting area? If it is covered by a roof it is sufficiently "outside" not to produce any additional adaptation while in it, but not sufficiently "outside" to cure it.
Try the "clean" command in DFHack. It should tell you what parameters it takes (and won't actually do anything without parameters).

Solved - moved the meeting area underground. Vomiting ceased immideately.

That's strange. Can migrants come already with cave adaptation?
