third year of my fort and when my caravan arrived from the mountain homes i got this lovely red text, "No outpost liason, how curious..."
Courious indeed, as ive recieved liasons the last two years, i gave generous tributes even afer buying out thier caravans. Havent been made a barony yet despite having 80 dwarfs on his last visit and 120 on this one.
Maybe a megabeast or goblin attack wiped out my Civ? on embark it wasnt to small, 8 sites or so, and there was another equally large dwarf civ. Plenty of human and elf caravans, complete with thier diplomats. i am on a pocket world at year 100 and i turned savagery, and all titan/magabeast parameters slightly up.
