Javelin Anti Fighter missile: Attack once against fighters and capital ships. 3 or higher.

Medium:
Tag B Missile: Allows you to paint a enemy capital ship. All attacks against this get a +1 to hit for the round. In addition Beam cannons can target this ship outside of their normal firing arc. 3 or higher.

Shrike EMP missile: Knocks out a the power systems of a capital ship and can be used against larger fighters. 3 or higher d8 roll to hit capital ship. 5 or higher against large fighters(bombers, gunships and boarding ships). Disables random systems on capital ships and super capital ships.

Repair parts: used to repair external turrets or repair internal sections from outside. Unlike normal repairs there is no roll for completion.

Grimler Anti Shipping missile: A powerful long range missile that can target enemy ships in adjacent sectors. It takes a few rounds to home in on the capital ship and can be shot down. It fires as a pair of missiles instead of a single . No to hit rolls required but can be shot down.

Tempest Defense missiles: launch a missile that targets other missiles. 3 or higher on a d8  to hit.

-Inferno cluster bomb: Launch a missile that detonates against large groups of enemies. Detonates when there are 4 or more enemy fighters. Launcher selects either clockwise or counterclockwise. 8  on a d8 to hit up to 10 targets.

-Tsunami torpedo: A powerful anti capital nuclear bomb. Launcher targets a specific capital ship. Causes 3-6 hits on the ship

As the Prometheus prepares to jump out of the Sol system the crew pauses to take one last look at planet Earth. From the ansible screens the battle over Earth is highly visible even at the range. The antimatter containment failures of the last defense stations light up the void with bursts of white light punctuated by strobing red Ventraden death rays. In Earth orbit the Cruiser Poltava is slashed in half, life pods spill out only to be shredded with flak cannons. Underneath Poltava's carcass the oceans start to boil away as the blood colored ships vaporize the coastal cities. Eventually the signal cuts out as the Lunar cities meet the same fate.




1. 2 hours ago when the Ventraden  destroyed the Alpha Centauri system along with 23 billion people the engineers realized they would not be able to finish their upgrades. Which system did the officers and Governor of the fleet select.


[] We had the engineers finish the long range FTL communication relay. No matter where we are we can get information of the enemies advance through the galaxy and intercept communications from other sources.

[] We told the engineers to cannibalize the necessary parts to finish our FTL fuel recycler. It can make almost enough fuel for the entire fleet.

[] We had them finish them the internal defense pancaker. This will kill a number of boarders per round with gravitational pulses.


2. 1 hour ago when the Destroyers vaporized Jupiter's orbital habitat, there was only time to secure one resource.

[ ] We took more food from the military reserves. It was unlikely that anyone would be left alive to eat it. +5 food.

[ ] We brought on board a few thousand military families from a nearby station. Their spouses are staying behind on  fighters and battlestations. There is no time for goodbyes. +4 Population +2 morale - 1 Food

[ ] We dragged a massive superheavy AI tank into our hold. It will defend us on any ground missions and hopefully it will protect our colony in the other galaxy.

[ ] The officers decided that they needed more weapons. + dozens more missiles added

[ ] There is little the remaining forces in the Solar system can do to slow down the enemy. The few remaining reservists and novice pilots were brought on board along with their fighter squadrons. + a few dozen more aircraft. - 1 food

[ ] We took important cultural artifacts  and brought them on board. The Magna Carta now lies next to  terraforming equipment in the hold. +5 morale.

[ ]We drafted a few aging fleet tankers into the convoy. +5 fuel.



3. 20 minutes ago the Ventraden began the final attack on earth. We passed by the final vestiges of resistance above Mars as the FTL drive ran to full. The forests that once covered the surface were burning as cataclysmic earthquakes sent cities tumbling into vast rifts.

As the Earth turns a glowing red behind us we choose our escape path

[ ] Capella: A fleet Headquarters. Hundreds of desperate ships have flooded this system as it is a major nexus of faster than light travel. While the remaining military ships might help you, the discipline and morale of allied forces at this point is questionable. In addition they might leak to other ships there that you contain the code and machinery to activate the Star Road.

[ ] Hoth: a desolate ice planet with a small military contingent. It is out of the way and leads to the end of human space. -3 fuel


[ ] Wolf 359: A trading post, it was already attacked by the Ventraden but they left before fully destroying it as they advanced toward Earth. Small fleets and support tankers of the enemy are moving through this system regularly along with some remaining survivors. -1.
