Flamethrowers/molotovs - part of my Fallout mod for the previous version of DF.

There's Putnam's "projectileexpansion" plugin for dfhack and "itemsyndrome" plugin.

First allows you to make projectiles explode into fire/dragonfire/web/material cloud.
Second allows you to attach syndromes to items. That's how flamethrower is made: when it's wielded, the carrier has "fire" breath attack.

Speaking of itemsyndrome, are there any mods that use the new item-trigger script?

I need to ~~copy]~~ seek examples from them.

I haven't touched DFHack (and modding) in a while, but I will be sure to while I am working on my new mod called The Fall. We'll be able to share experience
