I won the game

*facepalm*

I had planned to play a 1-dorf-nano-fort in 40.24. But after several years of play I got bored, so instead of killing every migrant, I spared a male dorf. I thought maybe he and the expedition leader could become couple. But isntead, said dorf became a king.

Only if they are within 10 years of age of each other, and both have an interest in potentially marrying the opposite sex (see gaydar script in dfhack).

AND IT IS FANTASTIC THAT IT IS NAMED THAT...

I was so freaking happy when I learned that the orientation identification script was named gaydar.lua, you can't even imagine.

seriously I spent a long time trying to think of one before it got included, but that didn't end up happening
