Floating floors (solved)
« on: January 02, 2015, 08:04:27 pm »

1)
Build a support
2)
Build a up/down stairs and then build a floor above the support.
3)
Link the support to a lever
4)
Remove the up/down stairs
5)
 Pull the lever

The floor just floats there, why?

It sounds like a glitch to me.

Unless the floor above the support is touching something else still after the support disappears, that would be a glitch.

Oh forgot to say it is 40.19.

The floor doesn't touch anything I can confirm.

Yeah, gotta try that in the new version. Maybe it is already fixed (didn't see in the release notes though).

Well I figured it out.

I need to remove the stairs on the first level too.

x=up/down stairs
+=floor
I=support
Code: [Select]
------------
z=1:
x
I
------------
z=2:
x
+

Do you have caveins turned off?

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.
