What it says in the thread title. I'm playing the latest version of DF and my buildings and doors seem to be just... breaking down?? I dont know what's causing this...

They're made of stone. Not ice or whatever, before you ask...

ANd I'm not getting any "building destroyed by x" warnings

I saw this recently and it was a Troll running around in my fort tearing everything down.  My dwarves completely ignored him, so I didn't even know he was there until a cage trap caught him.  I didn't get any warnings (not sure if you're supposed too?).

a few versions ago i had a tantrumming dorf running around destroying buildings without any notification, IIRC

any possibility that one of your dwarf was infected by a were-creature?

It's usually a tantruming dwarf when I have this problem...

I vote unexpected were, as well. Sometimes they are unexpectedly sneaky, and they don't were-out for long...

Werecreatures of your civ will cause an announcement when they transform, so I guess not.

Ive had a single mason, depressed for live, who tantrummed after 6 years and destroyed a few doors and a workshop.
I cannot recall seeing any warning about that happening, except the tantrum message itself.
(Note to self: Don't make justice capable of punching holes in faces barehanded)

either its a creature like a troll or ogre that has sneaked into your fort and you havent seen it or is a common case of depressed dorfs. they tend to destroy stuff when stressed and that stuff. specially if having a tantrum spiral
