In the olden days, there was news of a school opening up, a prestigious school staffed by geniuses and providing the latest tech the world had to offer. And they were enrolling! Your family enrolled you, and through sheer luck you've been chosen. The school was to be finished somewhere in the far future, so to fix this problem the school had a cryochamber built, the first of its kind, to house you until the school was finished.

In a post apocalyptic world, the School is the only remaining civilization left. There are four major Cliques that dominate the School City, namely the Jocks, the Geeks, the Goths, and the Cool Kids. You can choose to affiliate yourself with a Clique later on in the game, giving yourself allies, resources and access to Clique-only places, or you can choose to become a freelancer to give yourself more freedom.
The main goal of the game is to pass all your Tests to Graduate (whatever that means in this world). You have to buy your Tests with money, which you can earn in a myriad number of ways, such as merchanting, creating art and books, performing in front of audiences, fighting, participating in sports tournaments, etc.
There are many ways of losing. Dying is one that comes to mind. Also, you earn Snob points or Jerk points when you do certain actions, such as stealing lunch money or studying too hard. Gaining Snob points makes you smarter and more persuasive, but too much will turn you into a Teacher's Pet, a robotic slave bound to the Teachers. Gaining Jerk points makes you stronger and more intimidating, but too much will turn you into a bully, a deformed monster that prowls the streets, feral and wild.
You will naturally gain Jerk and Snob points by doing things, so you have to manage their growth. The rest of the game will be explained once it starts!
The School City is based on Kill La Kill, where schools are somehow world powers and your status is based on how well you do in school.
EDIT: Split Literature, Arts, Music into Literature, Arts and Music, Performance. Also added a new perk called Star Material.
