I've got a squad set up to use Javelin Throwers, but I can't find the ammo. I've made a bunch of Smooth Broadhead Wooden Javelins, and they're in the ammo stockpile (not in bins), but when I go to the "ammunition" page on the military screen, I can't get the javelins to appear.

I also made some copper javelins for combat, and when I add "metal javelins" to the ammo list, all of the copper javelins I have show up with their quantities, but the wooden ones do not. I've even tried "broadhead wooden javelins (foreign)" but that doesn't list them either. Help!

And after restarting DF, they magically appear. Huh. *shrug*
