Kerthian Fortress is a science fantasy DF mod that promises to add more to the game.

RACES

• Kerthians^: A nation of humans who have been locked within their cities for years after the A.R.M.O.K wars and have only recently decided to explore the planet.
• Legion: A technologically advanced race of nature loving humanoids. How they reproduce is unknown, as only females have been seen.
• Nexians#: A primitive empire of humans who seek to create an entity known as the Nexus at all costs.
• Nazis#: An aggressive empire technologically on par with the Kerthians.
• Lycanthropics#: A race of shapeshifters who desire the elimination of all other empires.
• Nosferatu[/b#: An empire of immortals who need the blood of other life forms to survive.
• Mith'ri'aeil#: An alien race of amorphous entities wielding the power of entropy, they desire to devour the entire planet.
• Mycon#: A race of thermophilic fungoids.

• Cockatrice^: Monsters who can petrify creatures with their touch.

But yes might want to flesh this out a bit more first. What level of technology is there? Is the environment a wasteland? How are you going to translate that into the game?

Chances are a lot of the premise may need to change because the game does not allow full freedom with modding.

Also, my guess is the Kerthians took so long deciding what to decide that they forgot what they were deciding, so they decided to just announce 'we have decided'.

The "Nazis" part was so eye-catching that I read that first, and due to my new expectations, I accidentally read "Mexicans" instead of "Nexians".
You hit yourself in the face with your palm, and the injured part explodes into gore!

1: The tech level is about late 21st century or so. At least for the Kerthians, the other races are all over the place.
