Vomit Fiends are made OF vomit, but they dont clean it up!
Also, they live underneath a whole lot of intervening rock, not on the surface.

Surface vomit cleanup is what I want! (goes crazy)

(Why oh why wont toady implement a "Look Urist, CLEAN THIS UP!" designation in the menu?)

Because the dwarven caravan stops to trade with elves before it gets to your fort and elves always buy all the vomit for use as beauty products. That's why so many have green hair and why the traders have so many empty barrels.

Just in case anyone wants it: to make blood usable in food, add [EDIBLE_COOKED] to the BLOOD_TEMPLATE material template in material_template_default.txt. It will exhibit the effects of bug 2787.
