My first quest was to destroy a criminal operation in a site called treasureheated. When I arrived at the edge of the site in fasttravel I went the rest of the journey on foot. While I was walking I encountered a small cave, thinking that that was where I would find the criminals I kept going. Instead I found a dragon.
After blocking the dragon fire, it left. It then turned out that my companion killed it. So now with a heavy corpse and food for months I began to look around for treasureheated. It turned out that the so called criminal hideout was actually a dragon's lair (an empty one at that).
So from this story I got 3 ideas:
Idea 1: NPC'S that don't like you or want you dead might lie to you and give you fake easy quests. They are actually quests that are way to high level for you and will probably get you killed. You need the judge of intent skill to see through the lies.
Idea 2: Skyrim had Lydia. She was a companion who was very useful for carrying stuff around. It should be possible to make our companions do some of the heavy lifting for us as well.
Idea 3: There should be a quest called "feed the village". Basically what happens is that a random hamlet might be struck with a famine. If you manage to pass by them at the right time, they will ask you for help. More specifically they will ask you to bring # food items. Now if you decide not to help them there is a risk of the town disapearing from the map. And some of the villagers that moved to a new village might see you again and harbour a grudge. (Including the soldiers)
So tell me what you think
