Quick bug check: Building wood furnace with economic stone
« on: November 05, 2014, 10:09:32 am »

I'm using DF 0.40.14 on Windows.

Could someone do a quick check to see I'm not missing something obvious?

1. 'z'tatus
2. stone
3. set an economic stone green (I set Malachite green)
4. 'b'uild a wood furnace.

I get the message "Needs fire-safe material non-economic item", despite having tons of malachite ore.

Malachite is not fire-safe - it melts at temperature 10295, and fire safety is defined as stability at temperature 11000.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Ah, well on the plus side - I get to correct the wiki.

"All ores are fire-safe material. Some are also magma-safe."
