I found the location of an old fort (my first one) using reclaim fort on the embark screen.

I then went into legends mode. Using the sites menu I found that my fort withered  "In the midwinter of 127". Ten years later, "In the midspring of 137" it was settled by a human. These were the final two events.

I then opened the Historical Maps menu and hit the - key once to open "The Second Age of Legends, Year 130". I then moved the cursor to the exact (or as close as allowed) location of where I expected my fortress to be, but it wasn't there; rather a different location name.

I should add that I have been able to find other fortresses on this map, but not my first one.
