trouble dumping
« on: October 02, 2014, 08:11:00 pm »

I'm having trouble dumping in the latest version.  I've done it many times before but for some reason the dump jobs are not generating.  People have haul stone labor active.  Anybody else having this problem?

Not sure if dying of old age is an honor or a shame for weaponmasters. On the one hand, it means they never got the opportunity to die in glorious battle. On the other hand, it means nothing could beat them in glorious battle.

You will need to set your orders to 'Dwarfs gather refuse from Outside'.  If you want them to dispose of vermin from inside you will need to toggle the vermin setting as well.  It's a bug (presumably) that was introduced in the latest version.

I would prefer a solution that doesn't require putting things up my keister.

And... thank you that did the trick!
(I must have done that in the last fort as well, because I remember having this problem and it magically disappearing.)
