Is this a natural lake?
« on: September 20, 2014, 08:24:10 pm »

Went looking for a serious embark site that contained an Aquifier (been practicing), and stumbled across this anomaly;

Is this area subject to normal river rules, or is there anything special I should know about such sites?  That is, I won't be getting ocean-dwelling creatures like Whales & Sharks, right?  Any info is appreciated :)

All lakes not made by you are natural, and as far as I know, no amount of localized flooding or drying will alter the mo tiles to reflect their current state.

So yes, its likely a lake that feeds and dumps into a river.  And likely has the 'fingers' you see at the mouth of a river.

Evil lakes/savage forests are some of my favorite biomes, although they are unusually peaceful due to the low spawn count of lakes.  Note that doesnt make foolproof-safe.

These sort of lakes are difficult to generate, but are totally natural.

Gotcha.  Happens to be right on the border of Savage and Joyous, so looks like some good !FUN! :) (presuming I actually get the Aquifer breach correct this time).

Yeah, still haven't figured a way to make Print Screen only capture 1 monitor.  Anyways, I'm currently prepping Quickfort & my loadout, as this location is so idyllic, I really want it to last more than a year, lol

Alt PrintScreen will capture only the program that currently is the focus.
