Time travel. I want it ingame too, does that count for anything?

Well, time travel into the future is easier than time travel into the past, depending on how much disk space you have.

I was wondering...
Is this Toady one or Threetoe someone random?

EDIT:Hmmm... the image is not showing... well anyway I was referring to the image in original Armok.
The image of a guy with a tattooed symbol on his forehead.

That's me.  I think I was 23 at the time, and really unhappy about something.

Wow, what an awesome thread! Those games mentioned above bring back memories, particularly Rygar. That was one I got a small taste of when it was released, then didn't get to properly explore it until late into SNES and when we got our first family computer. Ultima IV was a defining game for me. I loved the virtues system and the real consequences to your actions - a lot of the dungeons didn't make sense tho!   :) Phantasy Star was my other personal favourite, besides Kid Icarus and the Zeldas.

Would love to see some of the above questions asked last year asked again a few weeks after the next release. It would have to be almost 6 months since, you went full-time on DF, is that right? Toady, how has it been compared to how you envisioned it?

BTW: Nice photo! How you never got distracted by a wife and family is a mystery to me - and probably a thankful mystery to us here who appreciate and benefit most from your time, drive and creativity.

I split in the middle of May, so whatever that comes out to.  4 months now.  I think it has pretty much turned out the way I thought it would, with the exception of this release taking so long, which kind of colors everything.  It'll be interesting to see how things are when I get back on a regular schedule.

Yr schedule is still shaken up from the kidney problems, or you mean getting back to weekly updates?

I don't think I was ever doing regular weekly updates, but something like that, yeah.  I suspect they'll be quite frequent while we sort out the crash bugs and shattered expectations and stuff.  You cannot make a beer fountain.

It would be cool that if you had plenty of fights near a pit, that eventually the pit would fill (to liquid lvl 2 or 3) with blood or vomit! Same would also be good if the other liquids (beer and wine) could also be collected on the ground.

Anywho, here's to desired lifestyles and work habits!
