Building in water
« on: March 13, 2008, 11:19:00 am »

how deep must water be before dwarves can't build in it, and also, is there any way to make dwarves build on a place that has water just aslong as the dwarves can walk in the water say 3/7 or less?

1/7 is what they will build in. Nothing deeper.

There's an option in the Data > Init > init.txt file that makes water tiles appear as a number showing their depth, if that helps.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
