Has anyone else heard about Neuro3x?
« on: September 07, 2014, 07:55:20 pm »

I just read an article about some new brain-boosting supplement that primarily uses bee pollen -- which has been used to therapeutic effect on the mind throughout history -- and which can supposedly boost concentration, memory, and energy levels dramatically, with practically no side effects. At least, that's what they're saying. I immediately thought: "Sure, but what happens when you stop taking it, and your body is already used to it? Wouldn't there be a risk of seizure or anaphylactic shock, or something?" Although they are marketing it as a supplement, rather than a drug, so I dunno. Here's the link.

I wanted to ask if anyone has heard about this yet, or if anyone has actually taken it and has anything good to say about it, or if anyone has tried not taking it and seeing if there was any reaction or loss of memory, or anything like that, because this just seems far too good to be true (of course, they said the exact same thing about penecillin way back when, too). Thoughts?

There's probably a reason that it got marketed as a diet supplement, since there's basically no regulation for those. If it was a drug, they would actually have to prove that it worked.
