My herbalist has collected an artichoke.  What can be done with it?  It does not show up on the kitchen list so I guess it can't be brewed or cooked.   I can't seem to process it at the farmer's workshop, and I can't seem to plant it.  So what do I do with it?

Well, a bunch of new plants were added in .40 and currently they have no use. It's an incomplete feature.

Seems to be the issue, there are no tags on that part of the plant (the one that comes out of the ground seems to always be the structural template). If you pop

In there like it is for the hearts, you should be able to brew/eat/cook it like if it was the heart. I think it will be brew as plant however as the main structure is usually a PLANT not a PLANT_GROWTH. This might mess up your fort so back it up if you wanna try this route.
