If the animal form doesn't work, have you tried dwarf/human? I don't have a corpse handy to test, but my bitten dwarf looked quite dwarvish now that he's dead.

No idea, there have always been things that have no stockpile setting I was just guessing from a line on the wiki that dead weredrwarves were treated as dwarves. And personally I don't bother finetuning corpses, everything that stays skeleton gets bridgesmashed when I need room, afaik they'd need to drink the blood to get infected and nobody drinks from the refuse pile.

Should the animal form work? There's always the possibility I made a stupid mistake in the enabling / disabling it between stockpiles, if the animal form should work.
Thanks for the reply,

This should be humanoid form, though I have no idea whether you can tell what humanoid that was, except from combat log. And there are plenty of possible animal-men...

I'm having a similar problem, except it's a fortress dwarf were-creature. He's got multiple bit's of body parts stored in the refuse, yet is also memorialised in the tomb. The dwarves keep switching which body part is in the coffin with the stockpile
