Would be nice to allow us to creature furniture similar to Archery Targets for training a skill of choice. The raws could allow us to designate items/tools/weapons required to use it, materials, durability of the dummy and how long until it breaks, and the skills that it trains. The base game wouldn't need to be effected by it.

All you need is to have "individual combat drill" actions cause wear on designated armor stands in the room.

That's not what armor stands are for. Armor stands are supposed to hold armor.
