Stopping shift from repeating keys
« on: August 13, 2014, 03:32:25 am »

Sometimes pressing shift will cause one of the arrow keys to become stuck on repeat.
Since one needs to press an awful lot of shift to play DF this becomes rather annoying.
Is there a eature in the game that causes this behaviour or is it a bug/system issue?

I've played a lot and never seen this. Perhaps it is your keyboard/driver that is broken?

You can adjust this behaviour in the options under Esc keybindings. I think you mostly want to change the repeat options from slow/fast to none. You can also affect the same change in the file interface.txt but that is more tedious and you need to learn the code in that file first.
