I have a super chicken!
« on: August 07, 2014, 11:38:52 pm »

So I had some critters in my brand new fort stuck up in the tree. So I cut the trees down to get the critters down. Sadly this resulted in two severely injured chickens. One of which I can't believe is able to MOVE! This one has a bruised liver, an exploded right wing, crushed left upper leg, and exploded lower right leg. This chicken should be dead by all natural means but it still lives and is currently apparently flopping about in my poultry farm. I don't know if I should make it a pet for it's amazing feat or slaughter it to put it out of it's misery...decisions decisions.

I don't know what is more impressive, that dwarves can skip salting and curing meat opting for zombiefication, or that the dark art of necromancy has been twisted to the cause of curing meats.

This is an artifact chest made from willow wood. All craftsmanship is of the highest quality. The chest menaces with spikes of obsidian. On the chest is an engraving depicting the chicken shattering that occurred on the 12th of Granite in 102. The dwarf is picking up the broken chicken. The chicken is laughing.

Make it out of apricot wood and it would be ironic...especially if it was the wood from the tree the super chicken was in. XD
