I turned off temperature since I read on the wiki that it can double framerate, and was bugged with "jitter" or something, but then I got to thinking this would essentially be a cheat since it may render things like fire and dragonfire harmless.

Is this the case?

Yes. Magma will also be harmless, and water never freezes or unfreezes.

I believe dragonfire follows its own rules, and is essentially a projectile named "dragonfire" that also produces regular fire.  Thus, still harmful, but not as harmful.

Magma becomes functionally identical to water.

Does water freeze at all in a "warm" climate?

And to clarify, dragonfire is still lethal but not quite as lethal with temperature off?

Any other sources of temperature-derived damage that would be rendered non-lethal?

Thanks so much guys

---no
And to clarify, dragonfire is still lethal but not quite as lethal with temperature off?
---yes, it will be very slightly less lethal
Any other sources of temperature-derived damage that would be rendered non-lethal?
---fire, for one, but few forts actually see legitimate fire.  Fire Imp corpses will no longer cause blisters on haulers.  Nether Caps become less cool.
Thanks so much guys
