Okay... I was playing DF calmly when suddenly I spoke to myself -Geez! I need to check my food and booze!- and then I tap the z button and see something like this -Food: 100?- and I like what the..?. Then, I'm here asking what this "?" Means(the "?" is in the right of drink too).

When you don't have a Bookkeeper all stocks and wealth are rough aproximations. Assign some random peasant as one and set his accuracy to maximum, soon you'll have the exact numbers on everything.
