40.05 world gen slowdowns

I just migrated to 40.05 and built a new world am building a new world.

See... even a small island is agonizingly slow. There's 10 civilizations. I had over 10000 historical figures in the first 3 years. After running 5/10 minutes, I'm at year 6. 6. I'm used to generating ~250, 300 years before play. It'll be ~250, 300 years before I play, at this rate.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Hmm.. nevermind. Turns out I had 100000 megabeast caves.
